From the first moment I met Joannah from Bettercare at Home I felt Mum would be in safe hands.  Mum took to Jo straight away.  Jo and her "girls" are wonderful to Mum, nothing is too much trouble.  Mum had lost a lot of weight but they are all encouraging mum to eat.  Cooking extra snacks and helping feed her if she gives up.  Joannah is very proactive with Mum and makes sure she gets all the correct medication and that the Doctors are doing their best by Mum.  I feel so confident with Mum in Joannah's Care I even had a holiday recently and for the first time didn't worry about Mum at home.

The support you offered us as family members was a huge help, keeping us informed all the way and nothing was too much trouble for you, even giving me the chance to pop out for walk which was very much appreciated.  Your team were always on time, always had a smile a reassuring word, total professionalism and even a hug when needed.  We really could not have managed without you all.

When you realise you need the srvices of care in the home, it's a very distressing time.  Finding the right carer isn't something that is necessarily easy.  However, from the first time we met Jonannah and Rowan from Better Care, we knew that they would provide a service that alllowed us as a family to care for my husband with dignity.

Better Care employ a team of carers that came into our home as strangers but became frinds.  When the days were a struggle and it became an awful period for our family, we had the confidence of knowing these people would visit us and care for us all, not just my husband.

We were so pleased that we had Better Care caring for us - and so very lucky.

Better Care at Home cared for my elderly relative for a period of eight months, when she was becoming increasingly frail and dependent.  Throughout this time the care she received was excellent.

The carers were unfailingly kind, patient and capable.  Jonannah, the manger, was always available to discuss issues as they arose and dealt with them in an efficient and sensitive way.  She also liaised with local services and helped ensure that my cousin recieved them when needed.

When my cousin was admitted to hospital Joannah visited her regularly and ensured that her needs were met.  Throughout these difficult months I always felt that the agency cared for my cousin and valued her as an individual.  I will always be grateful to Joannah and her team.
